Dear Parents,
Welcome Parents and thank you for taking the time to read this blog. I know that it is hard being a parent and taking time to read a blog within a busy schedule is difficult. The PTA for ABC school room 4b is doing a fundraiser for new equipment for our classrooms in the following ways:
1. We will have a carnival within the school ( $5.00 per 20 tickets)
2. We will have a dinner at the school (hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, and a sweet treat) . The cost for each dinner will be $7.50 per person
3. The dates for these fundraisers will be sent out as well as a sign up for helpers for these events.
We are raising money for the two of the following items for our classroom:
Whiteboard: This technology can help the students in so many ways. To be able to get a hand on new way of learning as well as educational of subjects that sometimes are very hard to understand. They are very interactive and have a great way of getting the students involved in the learning process.
Overhead Projector: This item will help us so much when it comes to teaching math and science to children. Making everything big so that every child can see the materials that are being presented and that everyone will be able to see what is being shown. It is a great way to have all the information available to every student at the same time.
Now these items that we want for the classroom will not be used for personal gain such as checking e-mail or Facebook or Twitter. These are being used as an educational resource to help the students learn. Technology is the wave of the future and I want to make sure that all students have the proper tools that they need and the technology experience that most jobs require something that they are learning early.
